What is EAGLE?
Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) is a multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, specifically designed as the preferred source of information technology (IT) services for the majority of the Department of Homeland Security’s enterprise infrastructure and initiatives. Services available to agencies via this vehicle include end-to-end solutions support to satisfy DHS development, deployment, operation, maintenance, and sustainment requirements.

EAGLE provides a wide variety of IT services allowing federal program managers within DHS to meet their IT needs quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively.

What types of services can be purchased using EAGLE?

EAGLE allows purchase of all IT-related services and support in the following functional categories:

Functional Category 1 (FC1) – Infrastructure Engineering Design, Development, Implementation and Integration

Functional Category 2 (FC2) – Operations and Maintenance

bullet

Functional Category 3 (FC3) – Independent Test, Validation, Verification, and Evaluation *

Functional Category 4 (FC4) – Software Development

bullet

Functional Category 5 (FC5) – Management Support Services*

* Functional Categories awarded to Kadix Systems.

Who can issue task orders under EAGLE?

Detailed instructions are available via DHS’s EAGLE Ordering Guide which may be downloaded from this site. At a high-level, task order issuance under the EAGLE is decentralized which means task orders may be placed by all warranted Contracting Officers within the DHS component organizations using the instructions in the DHS EAGLE Ordering Guide. In addition Information Technology Acquisition Center is also available to conduct acquisitions on behalf of DHS components.
